Go to the Entrepreneurial Mash-Up on May 9!

Here's an opportunity for everyone to help foster an entrepreneurial culture in the Pittsburgh Region. PUMP, HELP, and eLifelines are co-sponsoring an "Entrepreneurial Mash-Up" at 6 p.m. on May 9 at the Heinz 57 Center (corner of Smithfield St. and Sixth Avenue) Downtown. You can read more details here, and you can register here.

You don't have to be an entrepreneur to attend. And you won't get "mashed" (or if you do, it won't hurt) -- the term "mash-up" just means bringing diverse people and ideas together.

You'll get to hear from Andrew Moore, the guy who'll be heading up Google's new R&D Center in Pittsburgh. You'll get refreshments. You'll get to see the Heinz 57 Center if you haven't been there before.

You'll get to meet a lot of the entrepreneurs in town and learn more about what makes them tick and what we need to do to encourage them. And the entrepreneurs will get to meet people like you who are interested in them, and maybe they'll feel more like the Pittsburgh Region cares about their success.

It's free. Sign up and go.
